Wow, another "two sales in about two days" experience here in Ridlerville. The Good Folks at M-Brane SF are keen on my short story "4x40 Killers"!

Heh. This story was created during the "Val Lewton Challenge" Justin and I created four years ago. The great director Val Lewton was often given free range with making his movies, with two stipulations: the studio picked the title and the duration of the films. So, Justin and I created a bunch of titles and word counts and sent them out to folks who wanted to participate in the challenge. And, of course, we picked titles and word counts for each other.

In return, I had to craft something out of "4x40 Killers." The result? A tale of kung fu flicks, young lust, and broken friendships.
