I LOVE this. I think I may have to put it up on my bulletin board by my desk. Or maybe, I should put it on the ceiling above my bed! Think that would do the trick?

Lane, glad you liked the quote! I believe this one is a Mike find, and I think I recall seeing it in the introduction to Beagle’s semi-recent short fiction anthology, The Line Between, which is superb.

The neat thing about getting started if the muse is late is that she usually shows up eventually. If sometimes cranky, with a latte and sunglasses worn indoors.
