Poetry Up at ChiZine!
I'm back to dial up due to computer trouble, but thought I would post the good news that ChiZine has their latest issue up, and it included my poem "Kew and Sympathy." So go on over and enjoy:

I rarely write poetry, and most of it sounds like acoustic ballads without guitar (thank you, Paul Westerberg!), but this was different. It was the only fiction I wrote while in the UK last summer, doing doctoral research.
I also hit a personal milestone last week: nine rejections in seven days. So this success is even sweeter. So while there were many misses, I won't forget this "hit".
Now back to dissertationville.
